Kristaps Porzingis Exits Game 4 with Non-Contact Leg Injury

Celtics Leading at Halftime Despite Loss of Star Player

Boston, MA - The Boston Celtics entered halftime of Game 4 against the Miami Heat with a 17-point lead, but their short-term results were marred by the injury to star center Kristaps Porzingis.

Porzingis suffered a non-contact leg injury in the Celtics' playoff game against the Heat on Monday night. Prior to his exit, Porzingis had contributed seven points and three rebounds as Boston built out a sizeable lead in Game 4.

The Celtics will be without Porzingis for the remainder of Game 4, which is currently in progress. The extent of his injury and his availability for future games is still unknown.

Despite the loss of Porzingis, the Celtics remain in a strong position in the series. They hold a 3-0 lead over the Heat and can close out the series with a win in Game 4.
